How did this all start you might ask? Well, lets go back to the very beginning...
Well I'll start with me, Ms. Trouble, a name lovingly (I hope) picked by my hubby, probably because I tease him so much! I lived in San Francisco for five years and then spent a year in Vancouver, Canada, where Mr. Forgetful was living at the time. I love hanging out in my kitchen, cooking and baking. It's probably the only creative thing I do! I miss online shopping and can't go a day without chocolate!
Mr. Forgetful is my hubs. He was in Canada studying and working for 11 years and has his own company in business (specific, I know). He is a total workaholic, techy, and Apple whore! If he isn't working he is likely thinking about work!
Mr. Busy worked at the hotel where we got married. He too is a tech guy, who loves Apple products, and pretending he is a pilot! If it sounds like I am describing Mr. Forgetful again, it's because they were probably twins in a past life! It's amazing how many things these two have in common. And no wonder we became friends! Now while Mr. Busy hasn't lived in the US per say, he has lived and worked in Switzerland and many parts of Asia, and is fascinated by the "land of opportunity."
Mr. Busy recently married Ms. Chatterbox, who lived in the US for over 10 years. She studied and worked there, living in New Orleans, New York, and Las Vegas. She is in marketing and has an avid love for shoes, Macy's, traveling, and chatting!
Mr. Bounce is Mr. Busy's best-man. Why the pseudonym Bounce? Because he's bounced around from country to country, studying, working on cruise ships, and traveling. Now part of the reason for this trip is Mr. Bounce himself. You see, while the idea may have come from Mr. Forgetful's desire for a great open-road adventure, the mission has become one of the heart. If by the time this trip takes place, Mr. Bounce has not found a Little Ms. of his own, we will be on the look out for one as we travel from state to state! "The Bachelor" style. Sort of. We'll see.
Anyway, you kinda get a picture of who we are, what we are doing, and how much we have our heads in the clouds :) But our mission is to make this trip happen, one way or another, and to come out of it sane! Join us?!

As life would have it though, we moved to Cyprus before he was able to fulfill this dream. Upon our return to this little island, and during the course of our wedding planning, we met a few people who have lived, studied, and worked in the US as well, and who also look for every opportunity to return! Needless to say we clicked more or less immediately, and soon started to hang out on a social level.
One of the many topics we frequently discuss is, of course, our time in the US. We are all nostalgic, to put it mildly. We, for example, moved to Cyprus just over a year ago. I have already been back to North America once, and Mr. Forgetful twice! Our friends are in similar boats. So before we continue with this adventure any further, let me take a moment to introduce us...
